I also had a go at this a while a go.

I started to rewrite the parts of the installer that use undocumented
features of CFMX so they use the equivalent undocumented features of BD. I
found that the further I went, the more rewriting I was going to have to do.

It should certainly be possible, but it would probably be more than a single
rainy afternoon type of job and it would require more modification of the
farcry_core code than I really wanted to get into.

I'll have another go at it now that I know there are a few other people
interested.
