Thanks Tim - from memory from my last efforts pathing was a problem - I should perhaps 
try it again. The issue was that the farcry mapping could not reside in the server's 
root directory because your on shared hosting service.

There's no issues with shared hosts that I'm aware of (apart from the 
usual security issues if they're not properly sandboxed).

I've multiple farcry sites running here on my dev box, and a site on one
of Fasthit's shared hosting accounts.
