My versions are up to date.

I know the fix is only a band-aid, but I needed a quick fix.  In any case,
this appears only to be an issue with files with a size over 9K.  It would
be great if you could attempt to dupe it,

I went into Four Q and played around and all looks fine.  I really think it
is the data type, but I have been known to be wrong. :)

Are you using the correct Fourq with 2.2? You should have checked out
Fourq with tag "b122-beta1" from CVS to go with 2.2.

The problem seems to be in Fourq. Changing the data type in farcry_core
would only be treating the sympton. I'll see if I can replicate the
problem on my end.
