I had done that.  I was just coming at this from how can this be solved
without having someone update the db.

OK...I was able to recreate the problem.

The error is not in the code but in the Db. You need to raise the
Precision of the filetype column in your dmFile table. I have mine set
at 18. That gives you 18 digits to the left and right of the decimal.
