I think at this point in time the primary advantage is simply years of improvement. Verity in CFMX is a pretty old beast. Just a few things I can think of off the top of my head: - full java API - federated searches - search within search - automagic categorisation and topic generation - topic agents (alert you when something new hits the collection you are interested in) - thesaurus management tools (you can turn on thesaurus in CFMX but i think the licensing is dodgy and I don't know how to update the dictionary) - unlimited collection size -- geoff http://www.daemon.com.au/ Robertson-Ravo, Neil (RX) wrote: > Hey Geoff, the full blown Verity you have to buy....the daddy of the OEM > version ;-) > > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Geoff > Bowers > Sent: 21 August 2004 02:49 > To: FarCry Developers > Subject: [farcry-dev] Re: Verity K2 > > Robertson-Ravo, Neil (RX) wrote: > >>Anyone worked with Verity K2?
