A page in FarCry can be doing an awful lot if you set things up that way -- then it takes time to render, and caching is necessary. It's like any CMS model based on dynamic rendering; there is a balance between performance and how complex the page is.


There are several caching options in FarCry. We can't force people to use them ;) In fact you can even cache out the entire site to disk leveraging CFCACHE -- in which case the site should perform nearly as well as flat HTML.
