I'm having a problem with the soEditor Lite WYSIWYG editor. It now displays a grey box where you should be able to enter text. The icons still appear and the image and js files all appear to be in the correct place. It was working before and I don't know what change I could have made that would have affected this. I checked SiteObjects support site (http://www.siteobjects.com/pages/support.cfm) and most of the instances of this seem to be that the wordCount variable should be set to false and the scriptpath is not a URL.
I've double checked the wordCount variable is set to false and changed the code (farcry_core\farcry\richTextEditor.cfm; line 169) to use the folder names needed instead of using application.url.farcry (as it is set when it comes from Daemon).
I've also tried reducing the call to the custom tag down to the following:
<tags:soEditor_lite
form="editform"
field="#attributes.textareaname#"
scriptpath="#application.url.farcry#/siteobjects/soeditor/lite/">
The result is always a grey background where I should be able to enter text.
Has anyone seen and fixed this problem or does anyone have any thoughts?
Sincerely,
Ora Martindale
