Unfortunately, you won't find something that will just drop into place -- the FarCry JS tree is very sophisticated and integrates inherited permissions and a myriad of other features. What specific issues are you experiencing with the current tree? It may be much simpler to improve the current JS tree element rather than replace it.

There is no way to directly replace the JS tree for site overview in core. Your best bet would be to simply create a new custom tab and implement a custom UI to meet your needs.
