Currently we're using the 1.x version of FCKEditor for IE and HTMLArea 
for FireFox (for Macs and Linux users).

However, FCKEditor 2 RC has recently been released which now supports 
FireFox. I'll be looking into that hopefully soon.

Except for its terrible name, it has been a great editor for our users, 
especially with its Word cleaning abilities.

Do you mean CF editor or the wysiwyg html editors?
I use eclipse w/ the cfeclipse plugin and since I am a hand code
programmer I do not use the wysiwyg html editors.
