Attached is an updated version of Spike's FriendlyURLServlet class that
should fix the "String index out of range: -1" Emanuel reported. It
should also now work with servers running on ports other that 80.

Hey Spike I read on other thread that you may have another version with some debug info enabled. Can I have that? I would try to fix this issue if you don't mind.
This is such a important thing for me since I use several sites on the same webserver
Thanks

Hi Emanuel,
This sounds like it might be a bug in the FU Servlet.
I'll take a look when I get time and see if that is the issue.
Otherwise, the source code is available if you (or anyone else) want to take a look for yourself.

Hi Tom
do you mean under >admin >config files >FuSettings >domain ???
There I had 127.0.0.1:84,192.168.1.158:64
If I take port number out I will be sent to another
website that is
running on port 80.

Are you including the port number in Domains under the FU
config? If so, don't.

Hi all,
I am new to FarCry (just installed yesterday and I am already in love with it). I am a CF developer for a south florida
company and
we are evaluating FarCry to merge to ours existing
applications. So
far I am recommending farcry to my boss....
So, my first issue. I am trying to use the Friendly URLs
plugin. I
download the code and installed. I made the changes to both jrun-web.xml and web.xml files. I made the changes in the farcry admin. I see that the txt file is been generated but for some reason I am getting HTTP 404 erros whenever I click any node. I already saw the mailing list archive and I am using the
right (/go/).
My system information:
IIS 5.0
Windows 2000 server
CFMX 6.1 (latest one)
website port: 84 (is there any problem if I am not using the default
port?)
here is a piece of text from my Friendly URLs file:
192.168.1.158=84/go/support\=/index.cfm?objectid\=8521C6E5-402B-4F6

127.0.0.1=84/go/support\=/index.cfm?objectid\=8521C6E5-402B-4F6E-B9

Congratulations to all developers for this wonderfull tool!
Thank you in advance!
