The form submits back to itself. files are uploaded to www/files images are uploaded to www/images are the files getting uploaded?
What type of files are you trying to upload? You can control what type of files can be uploaded in the admin config files/images Are the file type you are tring to upload permitted? Are you able to back out the changes you made to the core?
