Well, I grabbed all three of the modules from the CVS repository, and I'm getting errors about a missing coloumn when attempting to log in to the site. This is after I just replaced the exisitng files with the CVS files. What this tells me is that there is a database change that I don't have that's affecting my site. I do have a decent amount of content in place, but I'm not averse (as a last resort) to just repopulating the content if I have to just do a /farcry/install. Is there a way to update the database without going through this?
I would strongly advise *against* just taking the latest code base. You need to grab the p230 branch only. In your CVS software you need to specify p230 as the tag/branch to grab.
The HEAD (the latest version of the code) is not suitable for production environments.
There should be no updater required if you are upgrading to the p230 maintenance branch from the 2.3 milestone.
