Hi The OS version in XP profesional, CF version is 6.1, I am not sure where to find info of the patch level.
in the cf administrator the port is already set to 443 in the text box next to server. There is a firewall running but am trying to run localhost, and to be perfectly honest do not really want to disable the firewall on this machine, but did not thinkthis would cause the problem. the checking of datasource in administrator is negative and cf is up to date. To get farcry running I have pointed the database to a sql server running on the network and all is fine, I am assuming it is related to the local version I am running. This topic is starting to get outside the boundaries of farcry, sorry guys. but I am assuming from the direction this is going that farcry cannot make use od ODBC connector?
