Alain,

For pulling in "static content" on a site, we typically uses containers with a handpicked rule.

For instance if in the press section of a web site I want to pull in the main press contact I would:

1. Create a dmHTML and load up the content (Making sure, of course, I made a display handler for this type and display) 2. Place a container on the template (global, page specific, or section specific).
3. Call in the handpicked rule, find the content, and choose the display.

Now you have content on the site that is administratable.

If you need more detail send me an email.

I'm about to start creating a new template. It's a grid-style layout, with for instance in the side bars static content. Or, depending on the page layout, more than one area with (static) page content. How would I go about that? Should I use 'displayTeaser' or use containers? Thanks
Alain
