You mentioned typing in the urls. Are they being built by the
buildlink tag or not?

for example, what is outputted when you do this?

<skin:buildLink objectid="#application.navid.home#"><cfoutput>link to
home</cfoutput></skin:buildLink>

Is it:

<a href="/go/">link to home</a>

or is it:

<a href="index.cfm?objectid=fsglsfflkjsdfdfdlskjfdlkfjskds">link to home</a>

what about other pages? try passing the object id of a few navs in and
seeing what is output.

Maybe i've missed it, but i think you didn't say if farcry was
building the urls.
