Thanks for your reply. I just wanted some other to shed some light over this. I did think of solving it like you explain below but I really don't like the link-objekt. It feels kinda slow when the site is heavily loaded. I've solved it by looping over the aObjectids of the navigation object and first displaying them as a second navigation (the dmHtml objects), then I display the objects of type dmNavigation. This way I can add an dmHtml directly under Content and access it both directy from "Content" in the main menu and from the sec nav.

I'm still new here, but I think I can answer this...

Supply getChildren with the objectID of your home page
(application.navid.home) to return just the 'main' sections of your site
(Content + Support).

Then, on your secondary pages, you could again use getChildren, or
getDescendants, depending on how levels of pages you want to display.
Pass in the current objectID to get the children pages (Browse + Add).
And the easiest way to make the nav item 'Content' actually bring you to
'Browse Content' is by making a link element instead of an html element
under that node, and make it link to Browse Content.

Subject: [farcry-dev] Navigation question

Hi,

I want to have an main-navigation bar and a sub-navigation. Like this...

Home
Content
   - Browse Content
   - Add Content
Support

In the top bar Home, Content and Support should be visible. When I click

on Content, the sub navigation appears on the right displaying Browse Content and Add Content. I also want the "Browse Content" page to be displayed when I click on "Content" in the main navigation.

How do I solve this easy in Farcry?

/ daniel
