I have made a font development community called PakType at Yahoo groups (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/paktype/).<o:p></o:p> I have made this group, so that we can just concentrate on Arabic script based font development, and people can use and distribute them free of cost. For this reason we are making our own glyphs and our members are in contact with calligraphers.<o:p></o:p> Any volunteer designer (calligrapher or khattat) and font developer can become our member. Our font projects will also be open to all so that any new font developer can get a clear idea.<o:p></o:p> The work of my Naqsh font (glyph bitmaps, fontographer file and VOLT project) is currently available at the site and we'll maintain the same style of achieving for our upcoming fonts. <o:p> </o:p> |
