Dear all,

It is still time for me to wish you a very musical and happy year 2015.

I have a question to the list, since I will resume teaching Faust in Paris
8 University within a few days (in the framework of my course "Programming
languages in computer music").

Most of my students are Max users on Mac.They have begun programmation this
year, and do not feel very confortable with compilation etc. This is the
reason why I had been using faustgen and the online compilation on Grame
website for the previous years. My students just had to concentrate their
efforts on learning Faust and either Faustgen in Max or the online compiler
provided them a simple way to get into it.

We now have a problem since it appears that both Faustgen and online
compiler cannot generate Max objects for the 64 bit version of Max. Is it
true or am I wrong ?

Of course, we could launch Max using its 32 bit version, but this makes
things more complicated for my students, since they would like to use
libraries that work better or completely in 64 bit mode.

What can we do ? Any suggestion ?

Thanks in advance,

Alain Bonardi
