I have tried Faustive, which is nice and convenient for quick test. But I face the same problem when I try to generate a .mxo object for Max. I select the « Export as » command with « OS X » and « max-map » as targets. This calls the online compiler and the .mxo generated is unfortunately not 64 bit compatible. Thank you for the link to download faustgen. This version works very well in Max 64 bit. My last question : to generate a 64 bit compatible .mxo, is the only solution the installation of Faust on the Mac ?
