Hi, list. I'm just curious to know if you're aware of any electronic music composers/performers who work with Faust as their main tool to implement their works.
Also, was Faust originally born as a tool for engineers? Have you always taken into account the possibility of Faust becoming a developing environment for musicians? Of course, it is already possible, as I'm doing it, but I wonder if the development of Faust takes into account the point of view of the musician as much as that of the engineer. When I initially asked around, I had been warned that Faust may have a hard time compiling large recursive networks. I have already worked with some fairly large networks without problems but I haven't ported all of my PD patches yet. Has any of you ever reached that point? Thanks, Dario
