Applause for all. I love this list.
Having been completely entertained by these e-mail exchanges and pretty
much supported everything each person had to say, I want to suggest a
fake documentary about two warring documentarians, each of whom plans to
release their film through some kind of free culture open non-license
license. This has been incredible. The part about Creative Commons
licenses was my favorite chuckle. And of course, I act amused but I do
actually believe the future of civilization and the capacity to have a
civilization is at stake with all this.
What makes it funny is that the viewer can identify with the sincerity
and zeal of both sides, so the conflict has this cool freedom-fighting
context. Just my two cents.
