"Idiot America" -- yes, just so. I follow this sort of thing. The degree
to which our major news outlets have sold their thinking powers to the
"Moronic Gut" is even more shocking. Having grown up in New York City
and now living in a suburb of Los Angeles (Pasadena), I'm worldly enough
to know that that while civilization applies to most of the world's
societies, there has been a consistent argument for centuries as to
whether it applies to the United States of America. But we can boast
Lessig -- that counts for something, I guess.
