I have managed to fix my FCKEditor updates inside an UpdatePanel by
following this article:

I still haven't tried the (more elegant) OnPreRender approach, as
described in:
http://forums.asp.net/t/1028530.aspx?PageIndex=4
My only problem now is the Javascript error in Firefox: "FCK is not
defined" in fckeditorcode_gecko.js : line 31
