Hello all, I would like to post the following questions:
Case #1: Different codepages for the same keyboard layout. The portuguese keyboard layout can be used either with cp860 or with cp850. Which one is preferred / used more often? The same question applies to: The danish and norwegian keyboard layouts (cp865, cp850). The icelandic keyboard layout (cp861, cp850). The canadian french keyboard layout (cp863, cp850). The greek keyboard layout (cp737, cp851, cp869). The russian keyboard layout (cp855, cp866, cp878, cp... many!) Also, info regarding the codepage "preference" for other keyboard layouts which accept more than one codepage will be greatly appreciated. Case #2: Identifiers. There are two different identifiers for british keyboard layouts (/ID:166 and /ID:168). Is it possible to define which one is most frequently found/used? The same question applies to: The french keyboard layouts (/id:120, /id:189). The italian keyboard layouts (/id:141, /id:142). The turkish keyboard layouts (/id:440, /id:179). The greek keyboard layouts (/id:220, /id:319). Also, info regarding different identifiers for keyboard layouts not listed here will be greatly appreciated. Still speaking about identifiers: AFAIK, the only differences between the french and the italian identifiers concerns key #83, which is present on the Numeric Pad. According to the identifier used, that key echoes either the comma or the period. Are there more differences? Thank you in advance, Henrique ---------- list options/archives/etc.: http://www.topica.com/lists/fd-dev unsubscribe: send blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ==^================================================================ This email was sent to: [email protected] EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?bz8Rv5.bbRv4l.YXJjaGl2 Or send an email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
