It's not worthwhile to tip contract - it's just not a valid enterprise at all. That said, the essay questions are becoming more "evaluative". So, if once upon a time you were basically asked to "write an essay on the parol evidence rule" you would more than likely now be asked to "write an essay on the parol evidence rule, and examine whether same should be reformed". I would apply that as a general rule.
Aside from that, nothing has really changed since 07 with contract - i.e. every year "formation" gives 1-2 questions, mistake has appeared on every paper for as far back as the current examiner goes, and frustration and discharge and damages feature time and time again. The "little" topics like capacity, formalities and parol evidence, still occur without any pattern behind them at all. Know a little about lot is the only valid advice that can really be given without offering bald faced lies about "tips" etc. Hope that helps.
