Hi guys, As far as I know, the FE-1s only examine the law as it was six months beforehand (so in March 2010, they will examine us on Irish law as it was up to October 2009). As the Defamation Act wasn't commenced until this January it is unlikely to feature in this session (although you never can tell for sure!).
Other recent developments in Irish Criminal Law include: - Criminal Justice (Amendment) Act 2009 (which got heavy on those suspected of being in organised crime). I think this was enacted in July 2009 but not sure when it was/is due to be commenced. - Criminal Justice (Surveillence) Act 2009. This was enacted in July 2009 but not sure when it was/is due to be commenced. On Jan 17, 7:16 pm, ShooterMcGavin <[email protected]> wrote: > /greatm thanks for the advice :)
