Hi, The princple of subsidiarity applies in relation to the exercise of community competence. Art 5LTEU sets down number of principles which must guide the EU whenever it takes action. these are:
1. Principle of conferral of powers. b. Principle of subsidiarity (look at Art 5LTEU) and c. Principle of proportionality. hope this helps!
