Hi Val,

I'm doing Property too, and while I'm completely confused about what
has and hasn't been affected in the earlier chapters of my manual,
I've done Covenants and Easements and both are still very relevant.
Certain aspects of them have been changed. The Explanatory Memorandum
to the new act is available here:
http://www.attorneygeneral.ie/eAct/2009/a2709.pdf
and just use Ctrl + F to find the part relevant to Covenants,
Easements, etc. There aren't many changes don't worry!! Sorry I can't
help about the other aspects you mentioned, at least yet, when I work
that out I'll post it here. Overall though, when you're working off an
older manual it's vital to check the Explanatory Memo as you go. Don't
assume the Bill is the same as the Act either, as some bits have
changed.

Best of Luck.
