Only thing I could come up with is some hack in pungi to consider noarch
and any other binary arch the same enough so that you only get the
highest n-v-r in those cases.

We might be able to make this change in yum, too - provided we never get into a place where we have:
pkg for x86_64 == foo.x86_64
pkg for i686 == foo.noarch

and that be quasi-legit.

I only mention it b/c I can imagine such requests :)
