Hola guys! Since one of our important requirements is the support for wrinting files of arbitrary sizes in an efficient way, dynamo based solutions were not really evaluated as a datastore. We might evaluate a KV-store for storing metadata on a higher level later on but havent considered it as a fedora-commons storage, because of the size restrictions it imposes. I haven't really thought about PID generation yet Zookeeper seems an approprite solution for that. Im currently reading up on HBase/HDFS so i hope i can make a qualified statement about that soon ;) > I put my initial HighlevelStorage proof of concept up on github, in my > forked fcrepo repo: > https://github.com/birkland/fcrepo.git Thanks very much this will help me out a lot! Does this mean there's already some kind of interface defined for the HighLevelStorage feature or is this still to be done? Thanks a lot!
