A question for the Fedora user community: Has anyone out there managed to get Fedora running in any application server or servlet container other than Tomcat? It's clear that there are some problematic direct dependencies on elderly Apache Commons libraries that would make so doing a very difficult task as well as non-portable mechanics (mentioned a week or so ago on this list), and I'm interested in learning whether anyone out there has had any success.
This is also a question (in another form) to the development team-- I didn't notice any obvious Jira issues related to this large question of J2EE portability. Is it on the radar? Is it formally in a development plan? Thanks! --- A.
