Been there, got the t-shirt. We never fully bottomed this and eventually
resorted to using (c). (And now we're moving from Muradora.)

Subject: [Fedora-commons-users] FW: copyright symbol problems.

Hi All,

wondering if anyone has had issues with the copyright symbol © and
fedora/muradora.
we have tried ingesting the copyright symbol as both &#169 and ©
the ingest goes fine.
pulling up the actual object metadata file on the server shows: ©

this displays fine in muradora.
however, when I click on edit to edit the object using xforms the © is replaced
with ??.

would anyone know if this is a fedora or an xforms issue.

Thanks,
Antony
