Hello

I'm developing a digital archive which uses Alfresco for the initial
ingest of documents and the creation/editing of metadata and alternative
file formats. These datastreams are then wrapped in a METS document which
Fedora can ingest.

The XML metadata is passed inline, but the files are referenced, with
OWNERID="M", so that Fedora can take copies of the files from Alfresco.

I am able to generate an authentication ticket in Alfresco, and before the
ticket expires, I am able to ingest the METS document and Fedora manages
to grab copies of the datastreams.

But there is no guarantee that ingest into Fedora will always be done
before the Alfresco ticket expires.

Can Fedora be configured to be given credentials for another site, so that
it is able to authenticate itself when needed, and not rely on a hard
coded URL which will only be valid for a short while?

Swithun.
