Steve, Thanks! I followed the instructions and the upgrade went smoothly.
I have a question about the locations of $FEDORA_HOME/data/objects and .../datastreams. As per the instructions, I pointed the new Fedora instance to the old repository's data/objects and data/datastreams folders in fedora.fcfg. This worked correctly and I was able to access all our content. After completing the instructions I noticed in fedora.fcfg that the paths for objects and datastreams had been set to the new Fedora instance's location. I ingested a test object and its data seemed to be stored in these paths, but only this object, while all our old content was located in the older data/objects and data/datastreams paths. My question is how does Fedora manage these two locations? Is there a symbolic link from the new paths to the old repository's directories? I am curious to know, partially in an attempt to anticipate future upgrades procedures, and partially to understand if it is safe to try and consolidate these locations. My apologies if my explanations are unclear!
