Thanks. I'd seen that page, but I wasn't sure how to merge what it said about the special inline XML metadata datastreams with what it said about the regular external/managed file datastreams. Maybe it is because METS treats metadata datastreams in a special way, whereas FOXML uses the same structure for all datastreams. I'll see how I get on with the admin tool.
