Dear all

While ingesting an object using
org.fcrepo.client.utility.ingest.Ingest.oneFromFile with managed datastream by
reference (i.e. <contentLocation REF="..." TYPE="URL">) I receive a
java.net.SocketTimeoutException. However, if I check it afterwards, the object
and datastream is stored correctly in Fedora.

I think a same problem has been mentioned some years ago already
(http://www.mail-archive.com/fedora-commons-developers@lists.sourceforge.net/msg00040.html),
but there was no indication about the source of the problem. Has anyone come
across this issue as well and found the reason for it? Does it have something
to do with proxy as indicated by Kai
(http://www.mail-archive.com/fedora-commons-users@lists.sourceforge.net/msg01482.html),
although I'm currently not using any proxy?

Regards, Andreas
