As you see (already from the previous mail), the problem is not on the Fedora 
server, the object is transferred and stored correctly. I've been testing a bit 
during the last week, the timeout seems to be at around 30 minutes, which led 
me to the standard Tomcat timeout. I'll let you know if it was this causing the 
error. (I cannot change the setting myself, thus have to wait a bit until I can 
check the results.)
