The installer of the fedora repository (both versions 3.5 and 3.6) asks (when existingTomcat is choosen) for the number of the shutdown port. It does not ask for the magic string to be sent to that post to cause the shutdown. This string can be configured and for my Tomcat I have changed it to be something different from the default.
So I wonder why fedora.fcfg stores only the port number, but doesn't care for the magic string. P.S. This "feature" doesn't cause any harm AFAIK. --Jörg ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
