I can't speak for all the committers, but it would be very difficult for me
to start looking into this with knowing what Islandora does on ingest.
There were issues with memory when objects with large datastreams were
exported before 3.6, so that's a possibility.
It would also be helpful to know some broad-strokes information about your
configuration (in particular, are you using Akubra and/or FESL AuthZ).
