Yes it looks odd. Indeed if a prerequisite to be part of a group is having a user page, but in order to be able to edit the wiki you must be part at least of a group, it could sound pretty strange. But some team processes were written when the wiki was editable by anyone. The spam on the wiki then lead to such restriction, and some teams didn't update their onboarding processes. In short: if nobody sponsors you it is not due to the fact that you don't have a wiki user page. You are not doing nothing wrong. I've seen your same problem in some other translation teams. It seems that here is a lack of active coordinators in some local groups, leading to some delays. However: don't give up! Did you send your introduction message to the trans-pt mailing list? If yes, send it again! Did you subscribe to the international list "Fedora Translation Project List < https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/trans%40lists.fedoraproject.org/ >"? If no, then also send your introduction there, talking about your sponsorship problem. In the meanwhile you can also file an ticket to Infrastructure Team < https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/issues> asking to be temporarily added to the "wikiedit" group, so you can start writing on the wiki while waiting for the sponsorship in the translation group. Thanks for your patience. And again: welcome to the community!
