It appears that there is information for a 64 bit and i386. Does anyone know
why this is occurring and how I should resolve the issue?
This should be put in the FAQ, I think. It's popped up SO many times
in the last few weeks.
The NM people stopped putting the 32-bit libraries and such in the
64-bit repository. Your easiest fix is:
yum remove NetworkManager.i386
yum update NetworkManager
The first command may want to kill off parts of Evolution, but only the
32-bit pieces (which you aren't using anyway). Why Evolution is
dependent on NM is beyond me (other than it needs network stuff, but
that shouldn't be dependent on NM...just on a NIC with an IP or even
localhost).
Of course, the NM people should fix their distribution policy, but...
(frequent viewers of the list know my feelings about NM)
