I've found the following files:
VMware-server-vmmom-1.0.6-91891-2.6.26-1.patch
VMware-server-vmnet-1.0.6-91891-2.6.26-1.patch
Along with these installation instructions:
#get tarball and install, do not run vmware-configure.pl when prompted#
#get patches and run aginst module archives#
cd /usr/lib/vmware/modules/source
tar -xf vmmon.tar
tar -xf vmnet.tar
cd vmmon-only
patch -p1 < VMware-server-vmmon-1.0.6-91891-2.6.26-1.patch
cd ..
cd /vmnet-only
patch -p1 < VMware-server-vmnet-1.0.6-91891-2.6.26-1.patch
cd ..
cp vmnet.tar vmnet.tar_orig
tar cf vmnet.tar vmnet-only
rm vmnet-only -r
cp vmmon.tar vmmon.tar_orig
tar cf vmmon.tar vmmon-only
rm vmmon-only -r
vmware-configure.pl
I also instructions referencing the application of these patches on a
2.6.25-15 kernel. Could this be the solutions to my problem?
