I have a couple of G45/945GC boards and Fedora 9 comes with intel 2.3.2 drivers.

G45 support was added in 2.4.0 release. Current release is 2.4.2.

I'm waiting for fedora 9 to release 2.4.2 driver since it's been out
for a while and provides numerous improvements and bugfixes..

Any ideas when this is coming?

BTW, if you want to compile the driver, you need to download the
latest versions of Mesa (7.1.x) and libdrm (svn/cvs)
