Sorry...Figured it out finally.....
the problem is this When i perform media check on the Fedora 9 i386 DVD... the program checks the DVD verifies the checksum and waits for the next disk to be inserted. But since for me its a single DVD. I dont have to go for another disk so i am pressing continue with the same disk in the drive and it says error. what i am supposed to do is After the media check...it seems i have to reboot the system and boot from the DVD again and skip the media check. Now why wasn't this considered that idiots like me...need a notification on stuff like this...I dont have five CD's and so i dont have to reboot and go back to download or burn the rest of my cds.
