You may have to do some digging, to get the right numbers for W and H;
but the following works for me with the font that I use:
W=664
H=520
for Y_RESOLUTION in 768 834 1024 1200; do
kwriteconfig --file ~/.kde/share/config/konsolerc --group
MainWindow --key "Height $Y_RESOLUTION" $H
done
for X_RESOLUTION in 1024 1280 1440 1920; do
kwriteconfig --file ~/.kde/share/config/konsolerc --group
MainWindow --key "Width $X_RESOLUTION" $W
done
konsole "$@"
