I suggest you post to the Evolution list
(http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list). Be sure to
mention the version of Evo, and also whether your folders are local or
IMAP.

Note that you can log your filter activity by toggling a Gconf
setting. Open Gnome Settings (or run gconf-editor) and go to
apps/evolution/mail/filters. Turn on the 'log' variable and set the
logfile you want to use.
