You want some packages from RPM Fusion:
* for GStreamer: gstreamer-plugins-ugly, gstreamer-ffmpeg, possibly also:
gstreamer-plugins-bad, gstreamer-plugins-schroedinger
* for xine-lib: xine-lib-extras-freeworld
