make sure that...
1 - you've quit ALL running copies of Firefox
2 - you can manually register the plugin with...
mozilla-plugin-config -i
mozilla-plugin-config --help # for info
3 - libflashsupport is for flash audio with F9 & pulseaudio
debug, might be easiest to start firefox from command line...
