Unplugging and replugging it in fixes the problem. It probably doesn't get detected 50-60% of the time. It doesn't appear to just be a mouse problem though. I ran the LXDE remix on my EEEPC and the same thing happened with the touch pad. Reloading Xorg fixed it. Richard
