As Craig said, you're mounting too different things onto the same mount
point (/mnt/home), this is asking for trouble (even if you don't expect
them to both be mounted at the same time).
Ok, I will certainly change that later this morning when I am
functioning better.
I appreciate all the suggestions and am still working through some
of them.
